The Fraudlogix Index is a near real-time indicator that shows the percentage of affiliate fraud that the average advertiser in the affiliate marketing space is experiencing.

How is this information derived?

Fraudlogix helps advertisers and networks detect affiliate fraud in their campaigns. When new traffic sources are monitored, the initial fraud that’s detected is calculated as a percentage of total traffic volume. The Fraudlogix Index is a culmination of all of these percentages reported as an average.

What type of fraud are we talking about?

Most of the fraud that’s reflected in the index is the type where fraudsters are entering other people’s information into a lead generation form or a credit card submit with the sole purpose of trying to steal affiliate commissions from the advertiser. These leads will have an extremely low or zero conversion rate and any sales will likely result in a chargeback.
